At Tiny Beets Foods we ship frozen chef-made baby, toddler and family meals across Australia. Because our food travels frozen, our shipping works a bit differently to your average online order. This policy explains how we ship, what it costs, how long it takes, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Where we ship
We ship Australia-wide. Delivery is currently available to:
-
NSW, VIC, QLD, SA — minimum order $75
-
WA, TAS, North QLD, NT, Regional Areas — minimum order $100
Some regional and remote postcodes fall outside our courier network. To check whether we deliver to you, use the postcode checker on our delivery page before you order.
We don't ship internationally.
Store pickup
Free pickup is available from our Arncliffe HQ:
Shop 2, 39–47 Forest Road, Arncliffe NSW 2205
If pickup is offered at checkout, you'll be able to select your pickup date and time. Bring a chiller bag or esky so your order stays frozen on the way home.
Choosing your delivery day
You pick your delivery date at checkout. The dates available to you depend on where you live and when you're ordering — the earlier in the week you order, the more choice you'll have. Your chosen date is confirmed on your order confirmation.
Our dispatch runs
We dispatch twice a week, and every order goes on one of these two runs:
Metro areas generally get the earlier days in each range. WA, TAS, North QLD and NT take 3–7 business days from dispatch, so those slots sit later in the range.
The date picker at checkout is the thing to trust — it shows what's actually available for your address. These are estimates, not guarantees, and delivery can be affected by weather, courier delays, public holidays and remote-area schedules.
Changing or cancelling your order
Email us as soon as you know. If your order hasn't gone into a run yet, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
In practice that means before 11:00pm AEST Sunday if you're on the Monday dispatch, or 11:00pm AEST Tuesday if you're on the Wednesday dispatch. Your next cut-off is shown in the banner at the top of our site. If you're not sure which run your order is on, don't worry about working it out — just email info@tinybeetsfoods.com.au and we'll check for you.

Shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and cart value. The rate shown at checkout is the rate that applies to your order.
NSW, VIC, QLD, SA (minimum order $75)
-
Orders $75–$174: $17 flat rate
-
Orders over $175: free delivery
WA, TAS, North QLD, NT, Regional Area (minimum order $100)
-
Orders $100–$174: $25 flat rate
-
Orders over $175: free delivery
Minimum order thresholds apply by zone. If your cart is below the minimum, checkout will prompt you to add more before you can place the order.
Different rates may apply to subscription orders. Whatever is shown at checkout for your order is what you'll be charged.
How we keep the food frozen
Every order is packed frozen in a thermo-lined box with reusable, non-toxic gel packs, then handed to our specialist frozen freight partners.
How the cold chain works from our kitchen to your door:
-
Your order leaves our kitchen in a refrigerated truck and goes to the courier's frozen depot.
-
It's held in freezer storage at the depot until it's ready to travel.
-
It moves in a frozen truck to a local delivery depot, and is held in freezer storage again.
-
The night before delivery (around 8pm) you'll get a text message with your delivery window.
-
On delivery day your food is loaded into a refrigerated truck for the final leg to your door.
-
You'll get a text confirming delivery. (Deliveries scheduled between 12:00am and 7:00am don't get a confirmation text.)
Once the box is delivered, the contents stay cold for roughly 3 to 4 hours in a shaded spot. Please move your order into the freezer as soon as you can.
Delivery instructions and leaving your parcel
Our couriers run tight frozen routes and can't wait at the door, so orders are delivered without a signature and left at the delivery address. This is how the service works — by placing an order you're agreeing to your parcel being left.
You can add a delivery note at checkout with a preferred safe spot — for example "shaded porch", "behind the pot plant", "leave with reception". Choosing a shaded, sheltered spot makes a real difference to how your food arrives.
If you'd prefer your parcel wasn't left unattended, email us at info@tinybeetsfoods.com.au before dispatch and we'll flag your order. We can't guarantee a change of instruction once the order has left our kitchen.
Leaving your parcel doesn't take away your rights. If your food arrives thawed, damaged or in poor condition, we'll still look after you — see below.
Tracking
You'll be notified by SMS the night before delivery (around 8pm) with your delivery window, and again on delivery when the parcel is dropped. Some order confirmations also include a tracking link where the courier supports it.
If you haven't received a delivery notification by the evening of your expected delivery day, contact us at info@tinybeetsfoods.com.au.
Delays
We do our best to hit every delivery window, but some things are outside our control, including:
-
courier delays and rerouting
-
public holidays and long weekends
-
extreme weather, road closures and natural disasters
-
regional and remote-area courier schedules
-
address issues (see below)
Where a delay is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, we're not responsible for a missed delivery window. If your order is significantly delayed or arrives in poor condition, contact us and we'll make it right. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Damaged or spoiled product on arrival
If your order arrives damaged, thawed or in poor condition, email us at info@tinybeetsfoods.com.au within 24 hours of delivery with:
-
your order number
-
clear photos of the parcel and the affected products
-
a brief description of the issue
We ask for 24 hours because frozen food can't be assessed after the fact — it's about being able to work out what happened while the evidence is fresh, not a deadline on your rights. If you contact us later, we'll still look at your claim; it may just be harder for us to verify.
Where there's a genuine problem, you choose: a refund for the affected items, a replacement with your next delivery, or a store credit. If the whole order is affected we refund the full order including the delivery charge. Full detail is in our Refund & Returns Policy.
Refused and undeliverable orders
Because our food is frozen and travels in a specialist cold chain, we handle refused and undeliverable orders case by case.
An order may become undeliverable if:
-
the address provided is incorrect or incomplete
-
access to the delivery point is blocked
-
the recipient refuses the delivery
Thawed frozen food can't be re-dispatched, so refunds and replacements for refused or undeliverable orders aren't automatic. Where the problem is caused by incorrect address details, or a refusal for a reason unrelated to a problem with the goods, the cost of the order and any re-delivery may be at your expense. We'll always contact you before we write off an order.
None of this affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please double-check your delivery address, contact number and any building access notes before you check out.
Wrong address
If you spot a mistake with your delivery address after placing your order, contact us immediately at info@tinybeetsfoods.com.au. We can update the address up until your order has been dispatched.
Once the order has left our kitchen we can't change the delivery address. If a courier redirection is possible, any extra charges are your responsibility.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including guarantees relating to acceptable quality and fitness for purpose. Where our goods fail to meet these guarantees, you're entitled to a remedy — see our Refund & Returns Policy.
